Airport to downtown
Taxi from the airport to downtown, or the lab, costs ~ DKK 300 (€ 40).
Public transport is quick and efficient. First take the metro from the Airport to Nørreport Station (downtown). Metro runs every ~5 min, and takes ~15 min. You need a three-zone ticket ~ DKK 36 (€ 4.80). The same ticket is valid on the train, metro, and bus for an hour.
Downtown to the lab
Taxi from downtown to the lab costs ~ DKK 100 (€13).
Buses from downtown to the lab run every ~5 min, and take ~5 min. You can take either bus no. 6A, 15E, 150S, 184 or 185 from Nørreport Station (downtown) and exit at Nørre Campus (across the street from the lab).
Credit & Cash
All major credits cards are accepted in taxis and for most transactions; bus tickets purchased on the bus are one of the few exceptions. Local currency is the Danish Krone (DKK). Cash withdrawal machines (ATMS) for all major credits cards are available as you exit customs at the airport, and in many places in downtown Copenhagen (usually outside banks).
